Our Ski and Hike Mountain Journeys are designed for those wishing to experience multi-activity four season Journeys during a single trip. These Journeys take place in the spring, summer and early fall in a number of different destinations and countries.
First and foremost they offer participants to an opportunity to enjoy the exhilaration of personal peak performance skiing led by our Paul Hyde | Journey coaches. Climatic conditions for technical free skiing in our locations are generally moderate and snow conditions are usually excellent on a freshly groomed base.
Skiing typically ends in the early afternoon and the second part of our daily Journey begins.
Perhaps it will be exploring a snow capped world, accessible only through guided mountaintop snowshoeing, being rewarded by the magnificent vistas unique to high mountain hiking or enjoying the unhurried pace of alpine Nordic Stick walking through the lush beauty of sun drenched mountain meadows – where you can test your mettle with a swim in a glacial lake. Maybe it’s mountain biking through quaint mountain villages, along hillside trails and down majestic mountain passes.
The joy of the journey is that we will match your experience and skill level to the moments’ experience; so don’t worry about the pace – after all you are on holidays!
